The VPH conference series offers a platform to present research related to theVirtual Physiological Human and more broadly to Computational Systems Biomedicine, as well as applications inclinical settings, underpinning the move towardspredictive personalised medicine.
The 2020 edition is organized by Inria (in collaboration with AP-HP, Ecole Polytechnique, INSA Lyon, Sorbonne Université) in partnership with the VPH Institute and EIT Health France. This edition will be held online (in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic), with a special day on modeling and simulations for COVID-related applications on August 24th, followed by satellite workshops on August 25th, before the conference per se on August 26th - 28th 2020. The whole program has been revised to accommodate interactive participation from various time zones, and all the oral sessions will also be recorded and accessible in replay mode (for registered participants). Note that all times are given in the Paris time zone (GMT+2).
Moreover, some selected sessions of the conference will be publiclybroadcast live on the VPH2020 Facebook page: all COVID sessions on Aug. 24th, all plenaries, the roundtable of Aug. 27th on in-silico clinical trials, and the VPHi awards on Aug. 28th!
To promote interactions between VPH2020 participants and new collaborations between modeling experts, physicians and industry professionals, a matchmaking platform is available during the whole conference.
